Dr Bahl is a dually qualified specialist surgeon, having obtained honours degrees in both Dentistry (Uni. of Sydney 1997) and Medicine (Uni. of Sydney 2004).

After completing his undergraduate degrees he undertook higher specialist surgical training culminating in fellowship OMS via the RACDS. He is a Specialist Clinical Tutor at the University of Sydney where he teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is also a Consultant Surgeon (Visiting Medical Officer – Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) at Westmead Hospital. His interests include Oral surgery (wisdom teeth etc.), Oral pathology, Dental implant and Bone graft surgery as well as Facial Trauma surgery and Orthognathic surgery.
